Using Magic: The Gathering Cardography accessibly

What we have done

• Provided semantic page landmarks, logical headings and a skip link.
• Made navigation, search, filters and forms keyboard operable without automatic filter submission.
• Used persistent labels, high-contrast keyboard focus indicators and text alternatives for meaningful images and symbols.
• Designed catalogue layouts to reflow from one column on narrow screens to wider grids where space allows.
• Added clear result counts, paginated navigation and an Apply filters action.
• Used email magic links so authentication does not depend on remembering a password.

Known limitations

• Large comparison and collection tables may use horizontal scrolling on narrow screens to preserve the relationship between headings and values.
• Some card imagery and reference data comes from third-party catalogue providers. Cardography supplies identifying alternative text, but the artwork itself is not fully described.
• The service is still being tested across combinations of browsers, screen readers, magnification and voice-control software.
